Tonight, not someday
Open the app and get a short list of things you could genuinely make in the next hour, weighted to what you already have in.
An app by App Pulse Group — iOS & Android
Suppertime knows what is in your kitchen, what your household will actually eat, and how much time you have tonight. It turns that into a handful of real options instead of another scroll through recipes you will not cook.
In testing now on iOS and Android.
Answers the only question that matters at 5pm.
Open the app and get a short list of things you could genuinely make in the next hour, weighted to what you already have in.
Photograph the fridge, the freezer or the shelf. Suppertime reads what is there, asks about anything it is unsure of, and keeps track of what is running out.
Fill in as many nights as you feel like. The rest stay open, and the plan changes without guilt when Thursday turns into takeaway.
The grocery list is built from what the week needs minus what you already own — so you stop buying a third jar of cumin.
How it works
Who eats, what they will not touch, allergies and how much time you usually have. Anonymous from the start — no account needed to begin.
A few photos, or add things by hand. A shelf-life catalog keeps a sensible idea of what is still good without you logging every date.
Take a Tonight idea straight to the stove, drop meals onto the week when it suits, and let the grocery list assemble itself from the difference.
And, just as importantly, what it doesn't.
Suppertime starts from your inventory. Suggestions lean on what is already in the kitchen and flag the one or two things you would need to pick up, rather than sending you shopping for a recipe you found first.
Photo scans and a seeded shelf-life catalog keep your inventory close enough to reality to be useful, with a review step so nothing is committed until you have confirmed it.
Set allergies, hard no-goes and how adventurous the table is once. Every suggestion afterwards respects them, so you are not re-explaining that one person will not eat mushrooms.
Want it faster, cheaper, vegetarian, or using the chicken before it turns? Ask, and the options change to match.
Plan two nights or seven. The planner is a convenience, not a commitment, and rearranging it does not punish you with a broken shopping list.
Steps sized for a real kitchen on a real evening — clear quantities, sensible order, and no eight-paragraph story before the ingredients.
